Case Record Access & Restrictions

Public Xchange access does not include sealed or expunged matters, juvenile delinquency, child-welfare cases, or termination cases. Private identifiers and victim or minor information may also be withheld. Under Utah’s Government Records Access and Management Act, agency records can be public, private, controlled, or protected, but that law does not turn every police file into a court record.
